Photos capture motorcycle style and legacies. One of the most famous Harley photographers is Michael Lichter. In 1982, he opened his own studio in Boulder, Colorado. When viewing Michael's photos, you can feel a part of the action. In one of the incredible photos, you can see clouds of dirt kicked up as the biker cuts his tires into the road. Other photos have awesome scenery shots as masses of motorcycles line the roads during biker rallies. Beautiful sky scenes set the mood in many of the photos.
Michael also has a talent of lining up motorcycles and creating illusions with his photography. One photo is a lineup of motorcycle wheels. Reality photos show some fabulous racing scenes where Harley bikes and their riders are encompassed in clouds of white smoke from a burnout.
A few of the numerous limited edition photos include Jesse James, a biker on the beach inspired by the 60's movie Endless Summer and Larry Ride in a front close up view wearing shades with his arms covered in tattoos and pink and yellow custom art work to show off his bike. Riding through Monument Valley, AZ is a photo capturing a group of bikers riding up a road with the monument in the background. Born to be Wild is a photo of a biker riding east of Sturgis, SD in 1992 with his topless girlfriend. Puppy and Bear Butte in Sturgis, SD in 1994 shows a biker standing on his Harley as he passes Bear Butte.
