The excitement and adventure of a road trip to an unexplored place in the United States on a Harley Davidson is a ticket to ride. The options are almost endless, but the following ideas are sure to peak your interest.

You can start in the Southern California, San Diego County in particular. The mild winter weather won’t put the brakes on a road trip adventure to Julian, California. Located in the lower elevation mountains, the back roads and open country provide for an up-close and scenic trip.

Work your way east to Arizona’s Grand Canyon and other national parks. Ride north along the California coast highway to San Francisco and across the golden gate bridge. Keep heading north all the way to Washington State to see Mt. Rainer and all its grandeur. Reno and the Lake Tahoe area is another idea for a road trip.

The state of Montana offers the history of the little Bighorn and the fossil remains of dinosaurs (if you are in to that sort of thing).

Riding the historic Route 66 highway is an idea. Route 66 stretches from Chicago to the West Coast and many points in between including St Louis. Stop to see the arch.

Upper New York State in the warmer months offers the Finger Lakes region. The lakes region is a popular attraction. Running along route US20, there is a lot to check out including the wineries. Niagara Falls to the west in not too far away.

Tour parts of Virginia and North Carolina along the 400 plus miles of The Blue Ridge Parkway. The parkway runs through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
