Celebrites and Harleys

We hear about celebrities all the time, and we see people riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles almost every day. But did it ever occur to you that those two things can come together? The list of famous Harley riders is almost as long as the motorcycle's history. Thousands of people have owned, ridden and raced this famous brand of motorcycle, and because of its superstar status, many famous people have began to ride them themselves. Whether for pleasure or for popularity, it’s not unusual for actors, politicians and other famous people to own and ride Harleys.

Elvis Presley was known to have a Harley or two, and photographs of this legendary music icon riding his Harleys are just as popular as photographs from the movie Easy Rider. Malcolm Forbes, the founder of Forbes Magazine and reportedly one of the wealthiest men ever, also owns and rides Harley-Davidsons. Other early riders include Steve McQueen, Bob Dylan, Clark Gable, James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Cher, Tina Turner, and all of the actresses from the Charlie's Angels television show.

Among today's celebrities who ride Harleys are Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ben Affleck, Jackson Browne, Jay Leno, Criss Angel, Bruce Willis, George Clooney, and Vin Diesel. Even former president Bill Clinton has been seen riding a Harley from time to time. There are so many different people who have have made the investment and decision to ride these great American bikes. Two of the most famous things coming together as one make a great pair!
